Video editing is the process of manipulating and rearranging video shots to create a new work. This can include cutting, splicing, and merging footage, as well as adjusting color, audio, and other elements.
Compositing refers to the process of combining multiple video or image layers into a single image or video. This can include combining live-action footage with special effects or animation, or layering multiple video streams on top of each other.
Motion graphics is the use of animation and visual effects to create graphic design elements that move on screen. This can include text, shapes, and logos, and is often used in title sequences, infographics, and other types of visual storytelling.
Audio refers to the sound components in video. It can include dialogue, background music, and sound effects. Audio editing is the process of manipulating and arranging audio files to create a desired sound in a video production. This can include adjusting volume levels, adding sound effects, and syncing audio to the video.
