PulsePlay Group comprises of PulsePlay Digital, PulsePlay Films and Himalayas Digital. While forming a founding team based in Dharamshala and hiring digital technologies, creative artists, motion graphics, designers the Co-founders – Deepak Rai and Shruti Thapa Rai released that skilled professionals and individuals are in short supply and scare.

Most applications that were received for the open positions were Bachelors and Masters in IT, Computer Science and Design. But when the interviews were conducted and assignments were given the applicants the work and output were not up-to-the-mark and did not meet industry expectations.

On speaking with a few training Institutes in the area, there were some candidates who new a few topics theoretically but lacked practical implementation experience.

Also, as time passed by candidates started enquiring if PulsePlay Group offers digital skills trainings in various areas.

Deepak and Shruti always believed ‘Theory without Practice, is Fruitless. Practice without Theory is Rootless.

They released there is a big wide gap between graduates and masters candidates and what the companies were looking to hire.

Thus PulsePlay Academy was born to bridge the gap between theory and practice across Digital Skills amongst the youth.

Deepak and Shruti are driven to invest their insights, know-how gathered from global experiences across USA, Dubai/ UAE, Middle East & North Africa, Singapore, Europe and bring value to the youth of the Himalayas region stating from Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.

Applicants and candidates at PulsePlay Academy are chosen and hand-picked after interviews to make sure their aptitude and career goals are aligned.

Chosen candidates are provided a dedicated mentor who guides them and shows them the way – from week one of the coursework exposing the candidate to real-life clients, brands campaigns and use cases.
